Why should I use perspectives?


Perspectives summarise employee feedback into clear, human stories that highlight how specific groups feel and why. You can explore insights by topic, team, or demographic -helping you identify focus areas and take action. Perspective’s is also useful for:


1. Spotting key themes – see what people are really saying, with key themes and patterns surfaced instantly.
2. Delve into departmental comments and feedback.
3. Knowing what to do – Get clear talking points and focus areas to guide conversations and drive meaningful action.
4. Bring the why to life – Turn feedback into clear, authentic stories that show what’s driving how people feel.
5. Share real life insights beyond HR (leaders, managers, workshops) 
6. Are time-poor and struggle to interpret raw data

How long does a perspective take to generate?


Upon survey close you will automatically be provided with a Perspective for your “Overall” level. If creating a custom perspective, this should take no longer than 15 minutes to generate and appear on your page.
 
How do People Science AI Summaries and Perspectives differ, and why might I need both?


People Science AI Summaries give you fast headlines across your entire organisation—spotting key facts and themes in both the numbers and comments, and presenting them in one clear video. Perspectives goes further by turning feedback from specific teams or groups into personal, story-style summaries, voiced how your employees actually speak. That means you can quickly spot big organisational issues with AI Summaries, but then use Perspectives to understand and influence what is happening in a particular department, demographic, or role. Many organisations use both: start with an overview, then drill down for real insight and tailored action.
 
What are the requirements for creating a perspective?


To create a perspective, you will need a minimum 25 comments per group to trigger generation. 
 
How many perspectives will I get in my package?


Perspectives packages include a default of 5 custom perspectives+ 1 overall per survey cycle. 
 
How can I add overall company context to my Perspectives?


To add background context that guides tone, style, and relevance of generated summaries. 
Steps 
Go to Admin → Company → Company Profile → Company Context 
Add a short business summary (up to 500 words). 
 

Include: 
Company background 
Save and validate before generation. 
Example 
 
How can I add context to my Perspectives that’s only relevant to the recent Pulse survey? For example a new CEO change, meaning views may differ in this survey.


To add fresh, relevant context for each new survey or pulse, follow the steps below 
 

Steps:
Go to Admin → Engage (Pulse Surveys) → Select relevant pulse → Edit→Pulse AI Context 
 

Add: 
Key company updates 
Current changes or initiatives 
Current focus areas 
Any external influences on sentiment 
 

Save before generation.
