Confidentiality Considerations When Setting Up Survey Attributes
When selecting attributes for your survey, it is important to keep in mind the confidentiality thresholds that will apply. WorkBuzz provides feedback based on groups with a minimum of five respondents (employees invited). You can read more about this in our Confidentiality Promise.
We strongly recommend avoiding teams or demographic groups with fewer than five individuals, as results will not be reported for those groups.
• Departments should align with your organisational structure
• Demographic attributes can be based on either business-related data or personal information
The chart below provides examples of demographic attributes and explains how they can:
Important: If you plan to include personally sensitive information such as ethnicity, you must have clear consent from employees before using it.
Demographic data should only be accessed by Power Users or those with a Custom Role. To protect confidentiality, it should not be visible to Managers in their results dashboards unless they are responsible for large departments where individual responses cannot be identified.
If there are demographics you would like to measure but do not currently hold data for, you can invite colleagues to confidentially self-identify using our demographic questions, to find out more on these type questions please see here.
