This guide will show you how to run an On Demand Poll
On Demand Polls allow clients to run small, ad-hoc surveys where the results are separate from the engagement pulse surveys.
Where pulse surveys are distributed to the entire employee database, you are able to select the audience for an On Demand Poll – you can chose from the entire employee database, specific departments, or specific demographic groups to provide you specific insight to any topic or event you are looking to gain feedback on.
Click "On Demand Polls"
Click "Create New Poll"
Type in the name of your ODP
Select the open and close dates
Click "SAVE" to create an empty project
The audience will need to be selected before the On Demand Poll goes live. This can be everyone in the employee database, specific departments, or those from specific demographic groups.
Click the "Audience" tab
Choose your audience. This can either be all employees, or those with specific demographics, or in specific departments within your structure
Click "SAVE" to create the contact list for this survey
Click "Survey Questions"
If you have created an ODP in the past, you will be able to copy it on the first page.
Click "+ QUESTION"
You will have 5 different question types available to you
Type in the question you wish to ask
To simplify On Demand Polls, the questions do not have categories, trending, or benchmark comparisons
Click "SAVE" to add the question. Add as many question as you wish to ask
Click the "Email" tab
Type in your chosen subject line for the survey invitation email
Type in the wording you wish to sent out in the email invitations
Click "SAVE CHANGES"
If you wish to schedule additional reminders, schedule the time and date of them here
Click "Schedule" to save the reminder date/time
When the survey is live, click the "Administration" tab
This tab allows you to view the delivery statistics of the email invites, and update email addresses of any of those emails that have bounced, and resend email invites through WorkBuzz to any employee who may not have received their initial email
