What if someone deletes their survey invitation or can’t find it?
In the event that a user cannot locate their survey invitation email, they should report this to their manager or contact WorkBuzz at support@workbuzz.com who will be able to help.
If someone hasn’t received their survey invitation, can colleagues share theirs?
No, the survey initiation should not be shared. Each individual survey initiation contains a unique URL so that WorkBuzz can link this back to the individual data that sits behind the survey. By sharing the invitation, It might mean that the survey link may not work for the intended individual as someone may have submitted a response. If a colleague is missing an invitation email then they should report this or contact support@workbuzz.com who will be able to help.
A user has reported that their kiosk code doesn’t work. Can I give them a new code?
In the majority of cases, it is down to user error. The codes are case sensitive so need to be input exactly as given, or that the code has already been used by someone else by mistake. Please contact your CSM or support@workbuzz.com who will conduct the necessary checks and advise accordingly.
On the preview survey link, is it safe to complete the survey?
Yes absolutely. The preview survey link is designed to be tested as if you were an end user. Feel free to click or write in your answers knowing it will not affect any data in the background. You may even share the link with your colleagues to test as well.
On scaled questions, do I have to have 5 options?
Yes, our scaled questions operate on a 5-option basis. If you require less than 5 options then you may want to consider asking the question as a Radio Button question instead, which will appear on the insights tab instead of the main results page once the survey closes
The survey has gone live but I’ve noticed an error on the survey. Is it too late to amend it?
Once a survey is live, we are restricted on the changes we can make. We can edit text on a question; however, we cannot remove or add questions. We recommend that you follow our checklist prior to the survey going out to ensure the survey is in the right condition.
A survey has gone live by accident, how can we stop the survey?
In the unlikely event a survey has gone out by mistake, please contact your CSM or support@workbuzz.com immediately, who will guide you on next steps and discuss preventative measures to avoid this from happening again.
I want to send the survey to people outside the organisation using their personal email address. Can I?
You can, however, due to personal details being used, please make sure you get permission from the end user that they are happy to receive a survey email from WorkBuzz. It is also suggested to advise them to check their spam/junk box as our whitelisting details will not be applied to those email exchanges, like they would be if they went through the companies email address.
Can I turn off automatic scheduling?
The system has been designed to automatically send out a new survey based on your selected survey frequency. If you have selected quarterly surveys as an example, then every 3 months the system will send out the new set of questions, unless you manually intervene and adjust the survey dates. A week prior to a survey opening, the system will send out a reminder email to you, however as good practice, WorkBuzz recommend that each time you set a new date that you note this down in your diary as well.
What time does the survey close?
The survey open and close times operate by date and not specifically by time. For example, if you have set the open date to go live on Monday and close on a Friday, it will be live from just after Midnight on Monday morning and closes at Midnight on Friday. In survey settings you can adjust the time the survey email goes out, however any amendments to the survey need to be done before the day it goes live.
How do I add custom categories to my survey?
Only your WorkBuzz CSM or support@workbuzz.com will be able to create custom categories to your account.
Are surveys available in Braille?

For printed surveys we can increase the font size to make it easier to read, however we do not offer the survey in Braille.
I want to respond to the survey in my native language, but I don’t want to be identified by my comments
WorkBuzz will translate any comments submitted into English as soon as they are submitted to protect your confidentiality.
