This guide will take you through our engagement model and engagement drivers
Engagement Score:
At WorkBuzz, we use the Say, Stay and Strive model of employee engagement – this helps to measure employees’ emotional connection working for your company and their levels of discretionary effort
Say
• I am proud to work for XXXX
• I would recommend XXXX as a great place to work
Stay
• I see myself working at XXXX in 12 months’ time, even if a comparable job was available elsewhere
Strive
• I am motivated to do my best work
We then add the percentage positive feedback (‘Agree’ and ‘Strongly Agree’ answers) for these questions to calculate your Engagement Score (out of 100), which can be benchmarked against other organisations.
We strongly recommend you keep these questions in your pulse surveys – this enables you to track employee engagement and your culture over time. It also enables you to be entered in our 5 Star Employer awards.
Engagement Drivers
Other questions you ask in your surveys, on a five-point scale (normally Strongly Agree – Strongly Disagree format, although this is customisable) will be grouped under Engagement Drivers:
Categories Terminology:
- Leadership
- Growth
- Teamwork
- Managers
- Flexibility
- Empowerment
- Recognition
- Wellbeing
- Equality & Diversity
- Purpose
On your results dashboards, your feedback will initially be summarised under these Engagement Drivers. By clicking on an Engagement Driver you can then view the questions which fall under this:
If you’d like to edit or add a new Engagement Driver, perhaps using language that better fits your organisation’s tone of voice or your values, please ask your CSM during the assisted set up process or contact support@workbuzz.com and we’ll do this for you
